2025–2026 DEVELOPMENT IMPACT REPORT / Thank You from Arizona Athletics 7 Dear Wildcat Club Members, The 2025–26 year was one of the most successful and transformational in the history of Arizona Athletics. Together, we built on the momentum of our inaugural Big 12 season and celebrated one of the most successful years in the history of Arizona Athletics. Our student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, donors, and fans demonstrated what is possible when an entire community rallies behind a shared vision. The results speak for themselves. This year, Arizona Athletics celebrated 18 postseason appearances, one national championship, two Final Four berths, one Elite Eight appearance, the Allstate Big 12 Commissioner's Cup, and a record spring semester GPA. These achievements reflect our commitment to developing champions in every sense of the word and demonstrate what is possible when excellence is pursued in competition, academics, and life. Beyond competition, Arizona Athletics continued building a stronger foundation for the future. Together, we achieved a record-setting $49.7 million fundraising year, launched the inaugural Saguaro Society, expanded strategic partnerships, and finished the year with a balanced operating budget while continuing to invest in the studentathlete experience. Just two years after facing a projected $39 million deficit, Arizona Athletics is positioned on a path of long-term financial sustainability—demonstrating that responsible stewardship and competitive excellence can go hand in hand. The momentum we have built is only possible because of the Wildcat community. As college athletics continues to evolve, the importance of philanthropy has never been greater. Your investment allows Arizona Athletics to compete for championships, provide a world-class student-athlete experience, and remain nationally competitive in an increasingly dynamic environment. Your generosity supports scholarships, academic support, nutrition, sports medicine, mental health resources, career development, and countless opportunities that prepare more than 500 student-athletes for success during their time at Arizona and long after graduation. 16 Stories of Impact / 2025–2026 DEVELOPMENT IMPACT REPORT Being a student-athlete at Arizona means challenging yourself both on the field and in the classroom. Earning recognition on the Fall All-Big 12 Academic Team showed me that academic success and athletic success can go hand in hand. The support we receive through Arizona Athletics—from academic advisors and tutors to career development resources—helps us stay focused on graduating and preparing for life after football. Donor support makes those opportunities possible, and it's a big reason why so many Wildcats continue to excel academically. Having access to wellness resources has made a tremendous impact on my experience as a student-athlete at Arizona. From nutrition guidance and sports medicine care to mental health support and recovery resources, Arizona Athletics prioritizes our well-being every day. Knowing that there is a team invested in helping us stay healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally allows us to perform our best in competition, succeed in the classroom, and prepare for the future. 2025–2026 DEVELOPMENT IMPACT REPORT / Stories of Impact 17 Winning a national championship was one of the best days of my life, but what makes it even more special is the friendships I’ve built with my teammates along the way. We push each other every day and celebrate every victory together. One of the most rewarding parts of being a Wildcat has been the opportunity to serve the Tucson community. Whether it’s volunteering at local events, working with youth programs, or supporting community initiatives, these experiences remind us that we can make an impact beyond our sport. Receiving the Men’s Community Service Award was an incredible honor, but it’s really a reflection of the commitment Arizona student-athletes share to giving back.
